Dear parent/ guardian,
Over the course of the last few days we have had quite a number of covid 19 cases within the school community. When this happens we are obliged to follow PHA advice which is clearly explained in the attached flow chart. If your child is identified as a close contact you will be contacted by the school and asked to collect your child. If your child has not tested positive in the last 90 days then there are two options.
- Self isolate for 10 days or
- Book a PCR test and if the result is negative return to school
We understand that these guidelines can be frustrating for parents, however these are the procedures which we as a school must abide by. School staff are also adjusting to these rules which can be difficult to manage especially when this occurs over a weekend. I would therefore ask for your support in our efforts to keep all our school community safe.
