Fan the Flame Reflection Journal for Primary 7 children
March 27th 2020 should have been a happy, exciting day for all our Primary 7 pupils and their families. This was the day that they all should have been confirmed by Canon Stevenson in St. Peter's Church. The children were already deep in preparations in school for this special occasion which sadly did not come.
We, the teachers and staff in Tannaghmore, are so disappointed for the P7 children and we continue to think and pray for them that one day, in the future, they will all get confirmed.
The children began a Confirmation Scrapbook this year in which they were recording memories, important events in their lives as well as learning about the Gifts and Fruits Of the Holy Spirit that they would receive in the Sacrament of Confirmation. Right now, the P7 teachers are unable to continue to prepare the children for when that day may come when they will be confirmed.
So boys and girls of Primary 7, we thought you may want to continue your preparations for your Confirmation Day at home. This 'Fan the Flame Reflection Journal' has many lovely personal, spiritual and religious activities that you can complete at home in your own time.
If you want to, why not create your own 'Sensory Bottle' to remind you of your time at Tannaghmore Primary School. This may help you to deal with your feelings at this strange time.
