Guidance for Working from Home

Dear Parent,

Just a few pointers for what is expected next week. Obviously this is very short notice and new territory for us so please bear with us as we get through the week, hopefully with as few issues as possible.

We know it may be difficult to have access to Wi-Fi depending on where the home learning is taking place so the timetable is flexible. Ideally we would like to be able to complete as much of what we planned to do in class next week so we can keep up to date with our plans. 

If possible log on to Google classroom each morning at 9am. I will try and be live then 🤞( technology permitting). Where I will give instructions about the timetable for the day ahead and answer any questions. 
Most children have their New Wave Maths and English books home with them and their spelling workbooks. We’ll start as we normally do each morning with New Wave and one of the spelling activities.
The children can then access the online resources to allow them to complete the work for that day. Maths, Literacy and other activity. They can then upload their work or post a picture of the completed work on Google classroom at some stage during the day before 3 o’clock. I will be available online throughout the day.

The usual Mathletics activities will be posted for homework and also keep up to date with reading and complete any A.R related quizzes.
