Our Healthy Kidz coaches cannot come into school during lockdown, but keep an eye out for a Healthy Kidz PE zoom class that your child can join in during lockdown with their classmates. Pupils you can now download and use the new Healthy Kidz app to record 60 minutes of activity per day. Every day pupils record 60 minutes of activity they win a trophy. When pupils win 10 trophies they become a bronze Healthy Kid. When they earn 30 trophies they are a silver Healthy Kid and when pupils' complete 50 days of 60 minutes of activity per day, they become a Gold Healthy Kid, between now and June 2021. To access pupil logins for the app, please email your teacher and they will issue pupil login details.
We hope our pupils’ can continue to stay active over this period of lockdown. There is a wealth of resources on youtube and of course we would love our pupils to get one hour outside with their families or friends, where possible and weather permitting. Also find attached an excellent timetable full of resources and ideas. So start to log your activity today and we can show that Tannaghmore PS is an active, fit and healthy school. We will reward pupils’ bronze, silver and gold certificates in assembly, when we are back in school.
