Letter for Parents January 18th
Dear Parents and Children,
I hope you and your families are keeping well and continuing to keep healthy and well in these worrying times.
I want to thank everyone for making the effort to collect the work packs for the children and also for supporting the children’s online learning. I would encourage all parents and children to engage with the work that has been prepared for the children in their packs and on-line. The work has been developed to give children the best chance of continuing to progress with their learning.
The work can be returned in two ways;
- The children’s work can be uploaded through the website and there is helpful information on the website to show you how to do this. Please try to upload the work to the folder where the work was displayed and on the day the work is completed. OR...
- Store the work in the pack and return the work on Friday when the new pack has to be picked up. There will be collection boxes allocated for each class.
- Primary 4-7 children should not return the New Wave Maths and World Around Us booklets in the packs. They should be returned at mid-term with the second pack.
The new work packs for the 25th January to 5th February must be collected on Friday 22nd January. Primary 1-3 should be collected from 9.30-10.30am, Primary 4 & 5 11am- 12noon and Primary 6 & 7 1-2pm. Packs from multiple classes can be collected at the same time. All adults collecting packs must wear a face covering and adhere to social distancing rules.
Parents who are key workers and wish their children to be supervised in school should continue to fill out the electronic form which will be text out each Wednesday and must be returned before 12noon on Friday. Submission of this form indicates a secured place for the incoming week. All adults coming to the school gates must wear a face covering.
Yours Sincerely
Seamus McCreesh
Principal
