Notice for Parents/ Guardians

Dear parent/ guardian,

Thank you for your support and patience during the week as we have tried to manage this difficult situation.

We are experiencing a rise in positive cases among our school staff at present. We will do our best to retain face to face teaching accross the school however, parents should be prepared for the possibility of their child having to move to remote learning at short notice.

At present, we are planning for all Primary 2 classes to return to school on Monday 31st January. 

It is our wish for all the children to be back at school as soon as possible but I would encourage parents to exercise caution by not sending in children who are unwell or likely to test positive due to close contacts at home.We are experiencing many of our staff testing positive particularly in classes with high numbers of cases.The lack of available substitute teachers in the system at the minute means that when a teacher tests positive, the class will have to move to remote learning.

Hopefully, things will shortly return to normal.
