P1A were very lucky to get a visit from Daniel’s Mum, Caoimhe, who works as a Community Nurse. Student Nurse Emma also came along. Caoimhe taught us about some of the important organs in our bodies and how we can keep them healthy. Water, healthy food, exercise, sleep and careful hand washing help us to stay fit and feel good. Caoimhe also showed us lots of equipment that she uses everyday when she’s treating patients. Thank you for visiting us Caoimhe and Emma!
