P4A Weekly Roundup
I’ve been so proud of the boys and girls of P4A this week. They were so well prepared for First Confession and answered all their responses and prayers beautifully. Fiadh, Tristan, Autumn and Ben read so confidently and with such poise, we are all so proud of them.
The nerves quickly vanished after the Rite of Confession and the class felt rightly proud of their achievements. Canon Stevenson was very complimentary about the children and we can start getting excited about First Communion next. The BBC documentary film team were with us as we prepared for our First Confession, which added to the excitement of the day!
Next term our PE day changes to Wednesday.
We had a busy morning awarding Mathletics certificates this morning and enjoying the rewards of a Toasty Friday! Well done to the girls and boys who worked hard to earn their certificates, especially Ben who is the first in our class to earn a Diamond certificate.
We welcomed a scientist from the Royal Institution today. He taught the children about energy through a series of exciting experiments.
Finally I’d like to take the opportunity to say thank you to you and your wonderful children. It’s been a privilege to have taught this wonderful class and I feel so lucky to have shared in their learning journey. The children have made my year one full of joy and pride.
