The girls and boys of P4C had a brilliant day out at The Palace Stables in Armagh! We learnt lots of things about Christmas through the ages. We met a cook from 1786 who told us all about Christmas at that time and the traditions they followed, we even got to stir the pudding and make a wish! We met an American soldier who lived through Christmas during the war and told us what toys they might have played with. We met a very special Santa who took the time to talk to us all and listen to our Christmas wishes. We finished off with a lovely Christmas Snow Globe art activity. All the staff at The Palace Stables were so impressed with our boys and girls and complimented their beautiful manners and how well they enjoyed their day out.
