Tannaghmore PS is working with St. Vincent de Paul this Christmas to support those families in need in our local community. Instead of giving gifts to teachers, we are asking parents to donate non-perishable food products to the school which can then be used to create food hampers which will be distributed by St. Vincent de Paul. Donations should be sent in with your child in a plastic bag and given to the teachers at the school gates.
Items such as;
- Sugar/ tea bags /coffee/ hot chocolate
- Squash fruit juice / shloer
- Tinned fruit
- Tinned tuna / meat
- Baked beans / spaghetti / carrots/ mixed veg. / sweetcorn/ peas
- Soup
- Gravy granules
- Pasta / rice
- Pasta sauces/ ketchup/ brown sauce
- Part baked bread
- Breakfast cereal
- Jam / marmalade / chocolate spread
- Custard / rice pudding
- Savoury snacks/ crisps
- Biscuits / mince pies
- Chocolate / sweets
- Cake/ chocolate log/ pudding/ sponge cake
